The East side of the Las Vegas Valley is most notably known for the sun rising behind Sunrise Mountain. At the base of this mountain, you will find some of the oldest rocks in North America dating back 2 billion years. Not too far from this area is Nellis Air Force Base. It’s not uncommon to see the Thunderbirds fly overhead or to hear the rumblings of the helicopters coming and going. Thank you to our men, women, and military families that help protect our freedom!
